Pet photography guide

  • Try showing your pet a favourite treat or toy whilst taking the photo for the best pose.

  • Photos taken outside in natural light work really well compared to photos taken inside in artificial light but this is not essential.

  • Getting down to their level will help to get a good view of their face and neck.

  • Don’t worry about the background because it will be removed. I can include the background on request.

  • Smart phone photos are absolutely fine. If there is any issue with the quality of the photo, I will contact you.

Please avoid sending

  • Blurry/ fuzzy, dark or low-quality photos.

  • Head or neck is out of the frame or neck is not visible.

  • Obstructions to face and neck such as toys however I can usually remove them. I can also remove collars/ harnesses on request, but I will need further reference photos.

If you have any doubts or questions about your photo, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will be delighted to help.
